While at #paid, a startup in the Ryerson Digital Media Zone, I handled front-end development and built out specific features end-to-end. For example, I built the sandbox where influencers upload their final deliverable: the time on the iPhone changes via Angular depending on the post time set by the influencer and the brand can view and download a PDF of the deliverable, built using the wicked_PDF gem, once the deliverable has been submitted.
My first attempt at building an app with Ember and Node.js. A user can input reminders with a deadline attached, at which point I receive a text message reminder via Twilio. The app is live at emberalertapp.herokuapp.com.
Bitmaker Labs final project built in under two weeks. A Ruby on Rails web application that makes it easier for professors to create rubrics, grade assignments and manage teaching assistants. The app is live at drrubric.herokuapp.com. Get in touch if you'd like the login/password.
A Kickstarter clone now with more concrete and plaid. Built with Ruby on Rails and Bourbon, includes the ability to tag projects, make pledges and track funded projects on user pages. The app is live at hipstarter.herokuapp.com.
A Rails application built with two teammates for AngelHack June 2014. BeachColi scrapes E. coli data from the City of Toronto's open data portal and tells you whether it's safe to swim at each of Toronto's eleven beaches. The app is live at beachcoli.herokuapp.com.
